I wanted you all to know about “Libby’s Magic Hand” and how it came to be. I have been  teaching  a course on real estate decision making to “Last Time Sellers”, (as opposed to “First Time Buyers”), at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, a continuing education program of the University of Delaware. and having guest speakers for many of my  classes. I needed a decision tree that was visual, easy to remember and easy to explain  to others. First I thought of using an old knarleed tree,  but finally settled on my Magic Hand which I have used for forty years as a guide for where homes in the Wilmington Area are located. Applying this hand to the showcase was visually easy, but designing a logo required the help of an expert from Mitchell Associates.  He came up with the idea of placing a house  in the palm of  the hand. Now one can start the decision process with the visual representation that ” The Future Lies in the Palm of Your Hand”.

Next post will be the first of the many stories I tell my classes to make them fun and interesting starting with how we bought our first house without ever knowing we had bought it! .
